We are here again, and they never disappoint. I had the 1/2 chicken which was super tender with a crunchy skin. The fried mushrooms were fresh, crisp and tasty. Husband had the Throw Down sandwich, the thick sliced brisket was fall apart tender. And, he loved the grilled Texas toast. Smoketown is by far our favorite bbq spot in the KC Metro. I should have taken photos!

Short review because the place is fantastic, nice little restaurant, great BBQ, super nice folks running the business, friendly & super helpful.. easy parking. I've eaten lots of good BBQ from TX to the Carolinas, this is the best I've had .. including comparing to the big famous places, stacks etc. Well worth a visit if you're in the area.

Throw Down is a massive pile of goodness. Tender meat, just the right amount of pepper jack cheese, crispy onions and bacon. I am sold. I've enjoyed quick and polite service. This place is not far from Ikea and it is much better than the chain restaurants nearby. I am coming back!
